Firehouse Family Ministries began in May of 1973 as Philadelphia Ministries under the leadership of Pastors Kin and Veda Dunbar.
In 1994, Apostle Sherman L. Shelton Sr. and Prophet Corrine Shelton were ordained as the new Pastors of the Ministry.
Enthusiastically embracing this role with a fervent desire to impact families, we became Firehouse Family Ministries.
Through Apostolic and Prophetic anointing, Firehouse reaches the world from “neighborhood to nations”. |

Our mission is to rescue souls from spiritual and economic bondage and to touch lives with the love of Jesus, empowering the whole person, the whole family and the whole community. We aggressively reach out to our community through after-school and summer enrichment programs. Firehouse Family Ministries places a strong emphasis on Apostolic and Prophetic teaching, ministry to families, counseling and biblical instruction for all ages. Excellence is a hallmark of this ministry, both in the church and the home. |
